NASA Sees Spectacular Sun Eruption Like Never Before (Video) Fact 71

A tiny NASA space observatory built to snap unprecedented view of the sun has captured its first video of a violent eruption of super-hot solar plasma from the surface of Earth's parent star.

NASA's sun-watching IRIS spacecraft spotted the solar eruption, called a coronal mass ejection (CME), surging off the sun on May 9. Video footage from IRIS shows the amazing explosion with a stream of charged particles and hot plasma spewing from the sun at speeds up to 1.5 million mph (2.4 million km/h). "We have to end this, for once and for all."

Bill Gates is on a mission to eradicate as much problems and scenarios he can from the danger of Malaria. A vigorous disease spread by Mosquitoes. Mosquitoes cause a huge number of deaths per year, especially in undeveloped countries. Here is more on some of these brutal statistics.

"I want the Truth!" "You can't handle the Truth" It's a code itself nowadays. You don't need to be an expert in any field to understand the great depth of power this phrase reaches.

A Few Good Men (1992) sheds light upon a cruel Colonel (portrayed by Jack Nicholson), who gave orders to two ordinary men to carry out the process of Code Red. It basically means to eliminate and kill someone. During the court meeting, Lt. Kaffee (Tom Cruise) pierces every wall of defenseless lies within the Colonel to make him admit of the fact that he did indeed give orders to carry out the murder.

This Law based movie is a great portrayal of corruption within the army, and not to mention the phenomenal talk which Nicholson gives in response...

Spectacular Scenes

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol offers tense imagery and spectacular scenes including this one above, where Ethan Hunt - Tom Cruise has to climb 7 Units up to the 130th floor with a pair of "sticky Gloves" Blue is Glue and Red... Dead. The scene involves the building Burj al-Khalifa in Dubai - formerly the tallest infrastructure in the world.

Starring Paula Patton, Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner - this action packed film will make you gasp all along. Apart from that, there is one script which I loved during this scene; The Wire's not long enough, says Brandt (Renner), Oh Shit!! replies Hunt (Cruise).

"I look at you, I don't see an intelligent confident man... I see a Cocky Scared Shit-less kid. But you're a Genius bro, no one denies that, no one can possibly understand the depths of you."

Good Will Hunting is just more than Robin Williams craziness. Matt Damon, Ben Afleck and Minnie Driver present together a masterpiece directed by Gus Van Sant. One of the most interesting things about this film is that it offers fabulous advice, displays great logic and philosophy to intake and unbelievably iconic quotes (like one above).

Robin Williams and Matt Damon discuss below how inappropriate acts and decisions can vary the future ultimately - and give an unexpected surprise... surprisingly. Love this philosophical touch in the movie by Sant.

Spectacular Scenes

Iconic, catchy, short and snappy, this scene is and will be one of the most remembered ones ever! Leanardo DiCaprio's sweet humbleness towards a smart and cheeky 'campaigner' Matthew McConaughey.

The film allowed Mathew to win an Academy Award for the Best Actor, whilst Leo was nominated. Whoever the hell deserves the Oscar, the scene/film and acting of the two professionals were staggering and Mind blowing. The Wolf of Wall Street was one of 2013's highest earning films.

Critiques - Target No. 2

This list is just atrocious! The rankings to the inclusion of some, everything and anything you see in this list is wrong - from my point of view of course! It's so bad that I don't know where to begin from, whether it be Manny Pacquiáo or Bruce Lee. I seriously don't have any permanent grudge against Watchmojo, but when they are wrong, it's by quite a margin, let's just see where they went wrong.

Inclusion of Manny Pacquiáo
Manny is a good boxer, not a fighter. I think pretty much every professional in the world knows that when you are fighting, there are no rules, and when there are no rules, being dirty or clean doesn't matter, what does matter is that you get out of the fight alive. As far as I'm concerned, I don't know which idiot gave Watchmojo the idea to first of all put him on the list, and secondly ahead of Roy Jones, Jr. and Fedor Emelianenko!!!

Manny taking a final blow from Marquez before his "quick nap"
Pacman clearly isn't the fighter to fight them, and will be murdered. Moreover, I have no idea how he got a place on the list, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. went unnoticed? Okay Manny fans you might say he's a better fighter, but hang on, has he been the victim of any defeat? Has he been humiliated like Pacman before? Has he been ever dominated? NO! And I think he will not be in the future, I personally believe it's a solidified fact who's the better Fighter between them two, and through this regard, I believe if Manny is mentioned on the list, then Floyd Mayweather Jr. be mentioned too! Either way, both of the Boxer's presence in the list means a load of crap. But since Pacman is mentioned, you're wrong not to mention Floyd...

Roy Jones Jr. deserved a better position
Every Boxing fan in the world would acknowledge to stand against the "hideous crime" of putting Manny Pacquio (a Lightweight Boxer) ahead of a former Lightweight Champion and a Heavyweight one too! Wow, I'd like Manny to do that, that's only if he can do it... I believe he can't, and he will not. Obvious and as clear as water, RJR dominates Pacquio in ever aspect of Boxing. Taller, Muscular, Stronger - can take more punches than Pacman - Faster, Heavier (in the sense of more force applied in the jabs) and has indeed that third gear which allows him to excel against his opponents in the later rounds. As mentioned, we will discuss a key point later on which makes the list completely futile upon the strategy it went. RJR is a cracking Boxer, but would he win a fight against the likes of a Kickboxing Champion Fedor Emilianenko? With all due respect to his fans, he would not, and it's not about Talent, no, it's about the fact that Boxing include rules, and Kickboxing doesn't have that many rules compared to Boxing. Therefore in Fighting, Fedor would come out on top, but that's just confusing right? The Video should have not joined some Boxers, or Kickboxers altogether in one go, it should have been the top ten Boxers, or Kickboxers or whatever the hell, not Fighters, as that include "a no rule strategy". And that builds up controversy over a better fighter. But whatever the case is, RJR is a better Boxer than Manny, and Watchmojo doesn't realize that unjustly...

Fedor Emelianenko deserved a better position
Are you trying to say that Manny is a better fighter than this man, because if you are, it's evident you don't know anything about it, and blatantly presented before us is an example of Watchmojo. Like what the hell do they know about Martial Arts?

His Martial Arts record comprises of 34 wins out of a total number of 39 fights. A smashing career. Even though he didn't enter the UFC emission (some say based upon the rumors of him taking on much tougher competition). But I don't believe that, he's powerful, athletic and certainly dangerous. Georges St-Pierre doesn't have that ability to withstand the immense power of this man. Fedor's Arm reach, height, weight and strength is greater than Georges' - I seriously think Fedor deserved a very high rank over here indeed. George is an excellent attacker, but if you are talking of superiority over tackling a bigger stronger fighter, there's no guy who intimidates me more than him...

GreatER BOXERS than Manny Pacquiáo
This man had it all, he was a complete package, Watchmojo deserves some of the harshest punishments ever to not put my favorite Boxer Rocky Marciano on the list.  Arguably the greatest to have ever lived, weighing at 177 pounds (or around that corner), he murdered every opponent in his career, never let anyone cross the finish before him. Undefeated, strong and "Tenacious" as described by Mike Tyson's Trainer Cus D'Amato, his legacy will never be forgotten, and that awkward style which he adapted when he wanted to box, here's a fabulous documentary on his staggering yet somewhat sad story of concluding part of life. A perfect 49 from 49 with an amazing 43 KO! Apart from demolishing the Heavyweight Champion Joe Louis, When asked if he could have defeated Ali in a real fight, Marciano replied: "I'd be conceited if I said I could, but I'd be lying if I said I couldn't." When asked about his opinion of the result, Ali jokingly dismissed the results as racist, saying "That computer must have been made in Mississippi." Relating to the racial belief of Whites holding the upper most hand of superiority and respect over Blacks. As you know, Ali is......Ali.

He looks scary, because he is... Don't mistake the Big George Foreman, otherwise that right power blowing jab will "hurt ya". 76 wins from 81 fights, and not to mention the 68 one-punch misery. The likes of Manny don't even deserved to be compared and mentioned alongside George Foreman. Utterly seething and ridiculous that George didn't make the list, rather never even got nominated. Going along the stupendous logic of Watchmojo where the greats are hidden away and the modern greats (which aren't great as the older ones), are classified as the world's best.......not at Boxing, no! At General Fighting! Sugar Ray Leonard was mentioned as a nomination for world's best fighter. Anyone in the world can say after watching the highlights of both men's career that George Foreman will KO SRL anytime! Lunacy beyond Lunacy, you can't get any illogical, ruthless and idiotic than that!

Jack Johnson, profoundly the first hero of the sport of Boxing. He was the one who brought more attention to the sport during its rapid popularity. This Heavyweight's impressive career of 73 wins from 104 matches inspired many young stars to merge through the golden age of the sports history in America.

Nicknamed the Galveston Giant Double J Knocked out his opponents altogether 40 times. Standing tall at 6ft 2 with an arm reach of 94cm, he's got a greater chance of beating Manny Pacquiáo after observing these statistics. Alright forget Pacman, he's a greater Boxer than Sugar Ray Leonard even (who apparently Watchmojo think is one of the top 3 fighters in the history of Martial Arts). It's a simple thing to understand that Heavyweights are more likely to beat Lightweights! Please people, just type up Jack Johnson on You-Tube, and you'll see how ruthless and demolishing a Boxer this guy was.

Juan Manuel Márquez is a boxer who can be argued upon the discussion of being a greater Boxer than Pacman. Honestly people, here is my opinion, JMM is a better Boxer than Manny, I believe this because every fight they've fought, I really can only see rounds after rounds of dominance from Marquez. Ladies and Gentlemen this all visible through the highlights of their 4 meetings, so far... As for the latest one.... Manny did indeed enjoy the bedtime story. They first met each other in MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas, on May 8, 2004. It was a draw, 115-110 (Marquez), 110-115 (Pacquiao) and lastly 113-113. Many Pundits regarded Marquez to be the more dominant athlete in the fight. The highlights;

Second Fight;

Third fight;

The tallest man ever! Fact 51

Robert Wadlow Jr. is the tallest man ever to take a step on this Earth! Towering 2.72m, or 8 feet 11, there's no one who could mistake him, any time, any place... Unfortunately Robert died at a very young age of 22. His great size and his continued growth in adulthood were due to hyperplasia of his pituitary gland, which results in an abnormally high level of human growth hormone. He showed no indication of an end to his growth even at the time of his death.

"Daniel Day Sugar" Fact 49

For the 1997 movie The Boxer, Daniel Day Lewis trained twice a day, seven days a week, for nearly three years with ex champ Barry McGuigan, who said he could have turned pro. Below are some Spectacular Scenes from the great film, starring a transformed Daniel, seriously - what can't this man do?

Spectacular Scenes

Show me the Money!!! I think you may have heard this before, one of the most iconic scenes ever, the Cameron Crowe directed comedy film presents real deal comedy, with a transformed Tom Cruise. That's what it is...

Jerry Maguire stars Tom Cruise, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Renée Zellweger. This is a must watch film, and will have you on the floor saying "man, why did Tom Cruise ruin his life by becoming a Scientologist? He was better off like this..." No not really, just enjoy...

Is it a bird, is it a plane.......no...........what the hell is that?! Fact 47

Hugely deceptive (in its sense of appearance as a reality), the Axolotl is a peculiar but versatile foot-long (30-centimeter-long) aquatic creature that can use its four stubby legs to drag itself along lake bottoms, or else swim along the surface. It also has a strange, lizard-like face with plume-like gills and a mouth that seems to curl into a smile.

The incredibly strange creature has been closely monitored in Mexico by the team, I would certainly recommend you to watch the video, and learn some more cool stuff on this...

"Why So Serious?" Heath Ledger doesn't act as the Joker, no no no... he becomes the Joker, transforms into him. This immensely popular quote captures the hearts of many fans, even though the role played is negative.

Here's another treat for you from the film Dark Knight (Ledger's last film), To put a smile on that face...

On this day...

Sonny Liston was born (8th of May 1932). Sonny Liston was introduced to boxing while serving time in a Missouri State penitentiary. He became a professional fighter in 1953. Sonny Liston was born circa 1932 in St. Francis County, Arkansas, to an abusive and alcoholic father. Liston had trouble with the police as a teenager and was arrested more than 20 times. He learned to box while serving time in a penitentiary. Following his release, he began a boxing career, winning 54 of 58 bouts from 1953 to 1970. Known for his powerful punch, the majority of his victories were knockouts. He died circa December 30, 1970, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

One of the most remembered fights of Sonny Liston was with the "Great" Muhammed Ali (formerly known as Cassius Clay). Liston scored another knockout in a rematch with Patterson, but his 17-month reign as heavyweight champion ended at the hands of a brash fighter named Cassius Clay. Liston, who was viewed as nearly invincible before the fight, was unable to answer the bell for the seventh round, and Clay (soon to take the name Muhammad Ali) was named champion on February 25, 1964.
The subsequent rematch with Clay on May 25, 1965, included the infamous "phantom punch." Though it appeared that Liston had barely been grazed by Clay's right fist, the boxer went down just one minute and 45 seconds into the first round.

"What in Heavens name are you talking about?" That man Day Lewis is on the list again, and this time in the role play of one of Martin Scorsese's historical Gangs of New York. Daniel Day Lewis was nominated alongside Jack Nicholson for a Golden Globe Nomination back in 2002/3.

The extreme violence deriving from political lunatics, this film shadows reasonably well on the times of New York back in 1800s with Daniel Day Lewis playing the character of "Bill the Butcher" Cutting.

Spectacular Scenes

Heath Ledger, the ill-fated Heath Ledger we should say, embarked upon the character of the joker so magnificently that he won the hearts of many as one of the most talented to ever play in the profession of Acting.

Ledger's performance in the Dark Knight won him several awards from Golden Globes to an Academy Award Nomination. Here's a scene below that really does show how original, charismatic and energetic he becomes in the supporting role of the Joker. This is defiantly one of the best scenes I can ever show you...

Critiques - Target No. 1

Critiques is a section in the blog which will deal with incorrect data, biased opinions (to say the least) and hard hitting articles, lists, facts and figures - that will be better off changed. I purely have no intention to be rude and personify my thoughts as the ultimate reality, what I will do is put forward the information and key figures, through which you will realize that the Target was ultimately wrong (with all due respect).

In the first ever Critique section, we have our target as Watchmojo's list of Top Ten Most Dominant Male Athletes of All Time. The title is quiet clear on what we are going to witness, and without even bothering to play the video, you know the likes of supreme Basketball sensation Micheal Jordan is going to be on the list or Babe Ruth will hit another spot of elevation in Sports. But there are some Men, unfortunately, Ladies and Gentlemen, which are left behind, not even nominated in the list for any ranking, they themselves have absolutely paved the way of elegance, mastery and supremacy in their field - yet have gone down as unnoticed? There are those who have won an unimaginable amount of awards and competitions, have won the hearts of millions, but aren't even given a direction towards them within the list... Let's discuss who they are.

Stephen Hendry
The 45 year old Scotsman is a king at his profession, his dominance over Snooker seems untouchable when compared to some of the men in Watchmojo's list. Stephen Hendry's aptitude was in clear vision when, at the age of 15 only, in 1985, he became the youngest professional Snooker player ever! And that was just the start of his dazzling career waiting ahead, in 1990, he was the youngest ever Snooker World Champion at the age of just 21! No other sportsman on the list has achieved any milestone a great as that, taking into account the age too... Furthermore, he grasped the World Championship titles in the years 1990, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1999! A record in the history of the sport, as well as the fact that he was at the number 1 spot for 9 consecutive years from 1990 to 1998, and again in the years 2006/7. Hendry has the distinction of holding the most World ranking titles (36), and leads the field of Snooker players with 775 competitive Century breaks. Other than that, he has made 11 competitive full breaks, only second to another champion, Ronnie 'O Sullivan.

Lin Dan
File:Badminton-lin dan.jpgOften considered by analysts of the game and other professionals (as well as just about every fan of Badminton), "The greatest Badminton player of all time" Lin Dan, from my point of view, honestly deserved something to be mentioned about him on the list. The Chinese "Ace" is a staggering star in this sport, and has ruled it along Taufik Hidayat, Peter Gade and his Arch Rival Lee Chong Wei - mind you they aren't behind in the degree of greatness. Lin Dan is a two times Olympic Champion, five time World Champion and five time All England Champion! He completed the "Super Grand Slam" by the age of 28, having won all nine major titles in World Badminton: Olympic Games, World Championships, World Cup, Thomas Cup, Sudirman Cup, Super Series Masters Final, All England Open, Asian Games and Asian Championships. He's the first ever person to achieve that list. Badminton is a demanding sport, and the retiring age is below 35 for most players, but this guy is going like a train which seems unstoppable, defiantly worthy of being mentioned/nominated...

Eddie Arcaro
Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them, said a wise man once. Whoever that man was (most probably William Shakespeare) did indeed shed light upon something valuable. And we've seen greatness through many people, nations and episodes overtime. I can guarantee you with the firmest of grips that no one in the history of American Sports, has been as dominant, as successful as Eddie Arcaro. Undoubtedly, I will receive some radical responses over this hypothesis, but I think it will be unfair not to think of that way after reading the synopsis of his mind blowing career in Thoroughbred Racing. The Hall of Famer jokey won more American Classics than any other rider in the history, he's the only man to have won the US Triple Crown twice. The Triple Crown includes 3 thrilling races varying in distances to testify the endurance and the speed of the horses - as well as the competition between the quality of the campaigners on them... Altogether in his career, he crossed the line first 4779 times, which comprises of major wins like Jockey Cup Gold Cup (10), Wood Memorial Stakes (9), Suburban Handicap (8), Kentucky Oaks (4), Kentucky Derby (5), Preakness Stakes (6), Belmont Stakes (6). His total earnings was an incredible $30,039,543, considering this was the period between 1940s-1970s, his career defining wins would have had him a billionaire today as the prices and the money on these stakes races is itself 30 million US Dollars.

Garry Kasparov
No other player has dominated as long or as strong as Garry Kasparov. His name is synonymous with chess. He became the youngest ever undisputed World Champion in 1985 at only 22, which he held until 1993 when a dispute with FIDE led him to set up his own organisation (PCA) and technically lost him the World Title, though most chess enthusiasts still considered him the unofficial World Champion during this period. It lasted until his loss to Kramnik in 2000. He was ranked number one almost continuously from 1986 until his retirement in 2005, which included the all time highest Elo rating of 2851, as well as a record 15 consecutive tournament victories. Kasparov began training at Mikhail Botvinnik’s chess school at age 10. In 1979, he was accidently entered into a professional tournament despite being unrated, which he duly won and by 1983 was ranked 2 in the world, behind World Champion Karpov. He challenged for the World Title and lost to Karpov in 1984 in an epic 48 game match (see entry on Karpov) but won the following year and successfully defended it 3 times against Karpov in the coming years by very tight margins. In 1993, Kasparov had a falling out with governing body FIDE. In 2007, Kasparov admitted that forming a breakaway organisation was the worst mistake of his career. The Title remained split for 13 years as Kasparov refused to rejoin FIDE. He lost the title to Kramnik in 2000. Even after losing the title, Kasparov continued to outperform his rivals winning a string of major titles and remained ranked number 1. He announced his retirement in 2005 after winning the prestigious Linares tournament for the ninth time, citing a lack of personal goals in chess. He is now pursuing a political career in his native Russia. Garry Kasparov completely dominated his peers for 20 years, and retired on top. He has contributed much to the theory of chess and rightly deserves the number 1 spot of greatest ever.

Eddy Merckx
Eddy Merchx was born in Belgium in 1945 and became the best road bicycle racer the world has ever seen. He won the Tour de France 5 times in 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1974, the Giro D’Italia 5 times in 1968, 1970, 1972, 1973 and 1974 and the Vuelta a España once in 1973. Merckx also won the Tour de Suisse once, Paris-Nice 3 times, Dauphné-Libéré once, Paris-Roubaix 3 times, Liège-Bastogne-Liége 5 times and the World Road Race Championship 3 times. Eddy Merckx is also one of only five riders to win all three big stage races during their career, the four others are: Jacques Anquetil, Felice Gimondi, Bernard Hinault and Alberto Contador. This legendary sportsman was apparently ignored as if he never existed, I mean, from Chris Hoy to him, there should've been the representation of this demanding sport all together. I fully believe that this man should have been on the list within the top 3!

People, my intentions aren't to say that Watchmojo was completely wrong with that list, what I would say is that they missed out on these men who clearly (through their dominance) deserved recognition, and that's the least to say............

The best vocabulary Fact 27

From the age of one, Koko a Gorilla living in San Francisco Zoo in the USA, has been learning how to communicate with people. It is claimed that Koko can understand around 2000 spoken words in English and can sign herself over 1000 words using American sign language. Koko's IQ is thought to be between 70 and 95, which is pretty smart considering a normal IQ for a person is around 100. Koko is now 37 years old and her favorite pastimes include playing with dolls and drawing.

Robin Williams pops by to say hello to Koko, he's instantly taken by her calm and love.

Right, here we go - the first step into the frame of Acting analyses, no not really, I'm not an analyst, and neither an Actor, so really my views and thoughts will be considered a bit futile when others are doing this much better. Spectacular Scenes will bring certain clips and scenes from different movies which are often labelled as brilliant. So it might be someone speaking to someone else, a fight in between two or more characters or whatever it is - just as long as it's exciting and unique, we will have that witnessed.

Our first pick is..... Daniel Day Lewis. The British born actor won an Oscar for his tremendous acting in There will be blood, here's a scene below regarded by many as one of Daniel's ultimate supremacy displayed...

Strange but deadly... Fact 23

The Candiru is just 4 cm (1.5 in) long but it's an alarming fish. It's said to track down urine in river water and force its way into people's body passageways.
